The lionness in the distance is breathing heavily, making a groaning sound. You can barely see her, but through the flashes of lightening from the encroaching storm she seems to be moving. Wrong. You start to move towards her, she could need help, but when the smell of her hits your nose, the unmistakable smell of something long dead and rotting, and another bright flash of lightening illuminates the gaping hole on her side, you think better and go on your way before she notices you. Something has gone very wrong with her.
