Eminie

While exploring the main den, you see a silver lioness with nearly purple stripes and strange white blotches, hovering near a wall along the far side of the cave. You slowly approach her, but when she notices that you're watching her, she quickly disappears into a group of lionesses and you lose track of her. A moment later, you see a flash of her as she darts out of the cave, and you decide to leave her alone.

Eminie wall flower of the Placid Pond Pride

Nothing much changed for Eminie when Callius took over, at least not outwardly. The cruel way his reign began brought back painful memories for the lioness. She became even more withdrawn, extremely skittish and associated only with her closest friends. She did continue to help out on hunts, but barely even spoke to the other lionesses.

Eminie the awkward, wall flower of the Placid Pond Pride

Eminie is shy, and awkward, especially around lions she doesn't know. She is generally nervous, and quite jumpy most of the time. She does go and help out her hunting party, but mostly she helps to locate prey with her keen senses of hearing and smell. She makes a wonderful tracker, and is also great at locating competitors and threats in the area. Around the den, she mostly keeps to herself, and a few lionesses that she's close with, but everyone considers her generally sweet. An all round wall flower.


Eminie was born with a sibling, that was brutally killed by a rival male lion when they were still quite young. When the male took over the pride, her mother fled, trying to protect her remaining daughter. They struggled for many months before finding their way into another pride. Eminie was teased for the strange white markings that she and her mother had. Unfortunately, her mother would fall ill, and pass away when she was just an adolescent. Soon after, she would be chased from the pride when she struggled learning to hunt. By the time she found the Placid Pond Pride, she was barely alive, and after they had nursed her back to health, they invited her to stay. With a bit of patience, they were able to discover her amazing tracking abilities.


Intro under Mercutial
You notice a lioness just outside of the cave, laying behind a bush, as if hiding. Slowly, so as not to startle her, you approach, and offer a greeting. The lioness shudders a little, and stands as she turns to look at you, showing off silvery fur, with colourful stripes, and unnaturally white markings. "Oh... h-hi." The lioness looks around nervously, before glancing at you and then looking at your feet. "You must... uh... be..." You decide to save her, and explain that you're just visiting, and enjoying the water hole for a short while. She hesitantly nods, before blurting a quiet, "Welcome."

What is your favourite food?
"Hm? Uh... oh... well, any food is... um... good food. I guess um... I have special memories of drowned gazelles? They were the only food I could really find on my own... normal gazelles are good too."


What is your favourite item for amusement?
"Um... well... uh... legs? No... oh... oh dear. Uh, not legs, but like, bird legs? That's still legs. Um, you know like... uh... jacana legs? They're just... I find them... interesting? I'll just stop talking."


What's your favourite season?
"Wet season. Oh, am I supposed to explain? Um more... food is easier. And... uh... yeah?"


What's your favourite time of day?
"I like... the night time? It's... quiet then."


Which biome do you enjoy the most?
"The river? I stayed by a river, uh... a long time ago. It was... not awful."


Which lion are you closest to?
"Close... uh, close to? Well, I guess, um... Mercutial?"


Which lioness are you closest to?
"Oh, um... there's actually... uh... two... two of them. Actually. Surprising, yeah. Um, is that alright? Ok. Uh, yeah, so I'm close to, um, Calyn and uh, Othena."


What are your hobbies?
"Uh... I like to follow my nose? Sometimes. Just um... just around here. And see what I can um, find? And I like to think. About, you know... uh... things? And sometimes I come up with little uh, like um, poems? But just when I'm alone, and I never tell anyone about them. Ever."
