Lumen

Lumen was raised in a war torn pride as the daughter and head huntress of her king, it was kill or be killed out there. when Helis’s pride started to grow she knew that, while also wardriven, helis’s pride would be safer due to their strength. Siding with the winning side she requested to join as a consort, which baffled the other pride members, many of which laughed at her request.

Helis wasn’t convinced, and assigned her challenges, to bring back the heads of three different venomous snakes, the tusk of an elephant, the skull of a kudu, and the fangs of a primal. desperate for safe refuge, and never one to turn down challenge, she set off to fulfill the request.

she ambushed a nursing elephant by the watering hole, chasing her into the shallows and latching onto one of her tusks. a beating ensued but Lumen held on, breaking the tusk off and making a run for it.

She hunted the snakes at night, seeking out their burrows where they rested and luring them out with a freshly killed jerboa. as soon as they stuck their heads out she slammed her paw down, keeping their jaws shut as she severed their neck with her claw.

The kudu was easy enough, having been lead huntress of her former pride she managed to corner the kudu and crack off its horn.

now for a primals fangs.. she scoured the expanses for days, unable to find any primal for miles. finding an old baby female elephant carcass she got a bright idea, taking the small tusks from the elephant she hatched a plan. she ground the tusks against a stone to sharpen and shape them, making false replicas of a primals fangs.

she returned to Helis, proof of her achievements in a bundle held by her jaws. the pride lions watched with curious eyes as she dumped out the contents, Helis seemed impressed, inspecting the relics. he picked up the false primal fangs to examine, Lumens heart pounding in her chest… and he set them back down with a satisfied expression. she was taken in as Helis’s consort, and has proven to be a formidable foe to those who oppose Helis and his pride.
