Klerisa

A brown lioness with splashes of white, slowly approaches you, causing you to hesitate. The lions here have not exactly been the friendliest, but this lioness smiles and bows her head. "Welcome to the Placid Pond Pride." She greets you. "I wish you could have come here under different circumstances, but the weather is wonderful today, and the lake looks beautiful as ever." You turn your head to look out over the calm, pristine waters, and can't help but agree, feeling a little better about your visit to this hostile land.

Klerisa, optimist of the Placid Pond Pride

An optimist is an optimist no matter how bad things get. Klerisa is quieter, less boundlessly joyful and no longer a beacon of pure sunshine, though she still always has a smile on her muzzle. She still tries to brighten others days, and she still seems to always be in a good mood, she's simply quieter about it. She always tends to try her very hardest to stay out of Callius' way and off his radar, though with her positivity seeming to have more of a negative effect on him.

Klerisa the joyful, optimist of the Placid Pond Pride

Klerisa is a beam of sunshine in the pride. It seems as if she's always happy, and she always makes time for grooming others, or playing with the cubs. She's not the best hunter, but she always tries her best. She also raises everyone spirits when they don't make a kill, and she's the first to celebrate the second they catch anything. The others believe that she never has a bad day, and that's the way she'd like to keep it.


She doesn't speak much of her past, always claiming that she's happier to live in the moment. The other lionesses speculate that her last pride must have died, or separated since no one can see any pride chasing off a lioness like Klerisa, and she's not the type to abandon her pride willingly. When she got to the Placid Pond, she was underweight, and quite ill, and quickly surprised the others with her cheerful demeanor and upbeat attitude. She was immediately invited to stay, and agreed, never looking back.


Intro under Mercutial
As you cautiously explore the den, a brown lioness, speckled with white, approaches you. Her eyes are a menacing red, and her face is taught, as if she's upset. However, as she gets closer, she smiles, and then affectionately nudges you with her head. "Welcome to the Placid Pond Pride." She greets you, and you quickly explain that you're only visiting. "Welcome as a visitor then." She nods, before nudging you a little, and then leads you to a gazelle carcass. "You must be hungry, after your travels." You try to politely refuse, not wanting to cause trouble in the pride. "It's alright, we have lots. We share with visitors all the time." Hesitantly, you agree, and feed to regain your strength for the trip home.

Getting to know Klerisa

What is your favourite food?
"Oh, any food is good food! Um, I guess if I were to pick a favourite, it would be Bushbuck. It's nice to have food with a pretty presentation, isn't it?"


What is your favourite item for amusement?
"All toys are good toys. My favourite though is Roary. That's my pet rock. I've had him with me since I was a cub."


What's your favourite season?
"The wet season! The dry season is good too, but the wet season is the most fun."


What's your favourite time of day?
"Oh, the morning. It's so nice having the sun come up, and everyone is filled with hope. Or maybe the day time... all the cubs are awake and playing. Hm, but the evening, is when we tend to get the most time to catch up with each other, and sunsets are pretty. Night time is when we groom each other, and cuddle, and sleep though... it's all the best, really!"


Which biome do you enjoy the most?
"All of the biomes are great! But um, I think that marshlands and wetlands are a lot of fun!"


Which lion are you closest to?
"Merc, of course. He's such a good leader, and such a caring and affectionate guy."


Which lioness are you closest to?
"All of them. Wait, closest? I suppose that would be Jaguin. But, I like all of the lionesses here. We're like a big family, you know. Of course, I can't forget my actual family, my lovely daughter, Beejou! We are closer than close."


What are your hobbies?
"Hobbies? Hm. I like playing games, and exploring, and finding fun items... and hunting! Spending time with the other lionesses... Are those hobbies? I hope that answered your question."
