Suburbia

You enter the main cave and are met with icy blue eyes and an interesting pelt when you hear a lioness clear her throat. She looks at you quizzically with those icy orbs, “hello outsider, I am known as Suburbia. My pelt gains its interesting look from a mutation in my genes making me piebald, or causes discoloration and adds the beautiful pattern you see.” You see a soft smile grace the lionesses face as she stands and softly nudges her head on yours, “outsider is only the title for those who we are not related to or living with. You are also known as ‘friend’ for us as well.” Now it’s your face that is graced by a smile. You spend a very lovely afternoon together under a small tree atop the rocky outcrop where suburbia points out birds, bugs, and all sorts of nature you never stopped to watch closely before. The rocky outcrop is in the middle of the incline to the King’s Crest where he roars every morning and every night, where his throne is, and where he stays with his closest lionesses. You could have sworn the King had been keeping a low key watchful eye over his young Lioness to ensure you mean no harm.
