Imani

Imani was raised alongside Hadyx and Amoan, being the first generation of cubs within the pride Hedonis had founded. When she was an adolescent, she met and fell in love with Prince Sahara, who is the father of her four children. She and Sahara had a whirlwind romance for their entire young lives, culminating in Imani's first pregnancy and Sahara's abandonment of her due to his father's death.

During the time that Sahara was away, Imani worked closely with Amoan on projects relating to the pride's ability to be sustained on their own land. Due to her skill with tracking, Amoan asked her to come up with plans to be sure that they always had enough prey. Imani quickly threw herself into the work, counting the amount of animals in each herd and finding ways to ensure the growth of the herd that didn't cause detriment to her own pride's ability to gain food. Her ideas were so effective that to this day, Temple's Land is full of prey of all kinds.

Later on, when their cubs were a year and six months old, the cubs traveled into Sahara's territory and brough him home to their mother. From there, the spark returned and the two pledged to see each other every month on the full moon at the trading center. This made another litter, of a single cub named Kalahari.
