leah came to the pride along with her romantic partner, ezrah. her pride had been pillaged by Helis’s, determined to defend her love she challenged the lionesses of his pride and tried to make a deal. if she could find a single lioness in his pride that could defeat her alone, she would surrender herself and ezrah.

Laughing in her face, helis’s excepted her challenge. lioness after lioness she stood her ground, ezrah watching in terror and concern. by the end of it she was badly wounded, wobbling on sore and torn-up legs. but she had done it nonetheless. no single lioness in the pride was able to knock her off of her feet and pin her. thus she and ezrah where allowed to live, as long as they joined his pride. she agreed, and she thus became the combat specialist of the pride.

Being a strong trainer of warriors, she caught the attention of an old god of war, seth. having worked with archaseus to defeat apep, he was displeased at how his pride had turned to chaos. communicating to leah through ezrah’s spirit seeing, he has provided himself as a guide, a strong force in the eventual overthrowing of helis’.
