My darling Adurite died the 21st February 2024, she was 15 years and 10 months old, which is honestly pretty old. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My sweet lovebug Adurite (aka my beloved), I’m sitting here, heart heavy as a hippo (or an elephant, or a rhino, or a... uhh...), thinking about you. It's like, whoosh, memories flooding back! You were, like, like, like... uhhh... the lioness of lions, my lioness, you know? Wise as a... umm... wise thing (i'm sorry). Fifteen years and ten months, whew! that's a gooooood run, huh? Our daughter Beverly, oh boy, she's just like you- She's got your smarts and sass, prowling around like she owns the place (because she does). I see you in her, Adurite, and it's like you never really left. (Beverly is actually way uglier than you, no offense, it's beacuse she looks like me). I miss our chats under the shining stars, your purrs of wisdom soothing my tired soul. You were the queen of the pride, Adurite, ruling with grace and a gentle paw! So, until we meet again, keep watch over us from lion heaven (if that does exist lol), okay? And if you see Mufasa up there, tell him Scar's still causing a ruckus down here.
