Mwinyi

When you enter the nearby clearing, lionesses chattering and snickering alike, you find yourself next to a large, albino submale that has an almost starry mane and arid eyes. He introduces himself as Mwinyi, the only submale of Kanjave's pride, to which a sun-golden lioness with a blind eye comes and scolds him for his arrogance of his rank.

Strangely, Mwinyi calls the golden lioness 'mom' despite them clearly not being related. After their scuffle, the large submale lies down on his side, his soft, almost glowing, starry mane ruffles in the breeze as he yawns.

You hear from a few other younger lionesses about how self-absorbed Mwinyi truly is, saying how he boasts to newly claimed lionesses about himself and his huntress mother, one of the most respected figures of the pride behind Kanjave himself.

Despite all this, he seems excellent with cubs, playfully batting and letting them get lost and cling onto his thick, luscious mane. You ask him about why his mane looks so starry, and he just says it's family genes. But, you know from his 'father' that he was a tree cub, a cub he found at the Giving Tree when Kanjave was barely a king himself, and raised him as his own. It seems he was never told...though it's probably better that way, honestly.
