Biography
A tigon named faith was stalking a deer. It had been following this one for some time now, and the tigon was getting ready to strike. She was very hungry.

The deer was grazing in a meadow with several other deer. This particular tigon had been watching her for a long time. She knew where the deer lived and the other places it went. The tigon had also observed its daily schedule.

"The deer will leave here in a few moments," she told herself. "She always stays until after the sun dips behind the trees. She'll then run back to the safety of her herd. But I'm going to get her before that happens."

And the tigon watched and waited.

"I wonder how I'll attack her?" she thought. "I could wait until she is on the edge of the herd and then strike quickly from behind the trees. But perhaps I'll chase her around the field first, and make her think I've just joined the hunt.

Then, when she turns and sees me running toward her, it will be too late."

Faith smiled. It didn't matter. She knew the deer would not escape her.

"How will I kill her?"
she wondered. "I can go for the neck, but I have a good chance of just wounding her and having her run off. But if I aim for the side or back, the deer might fall, but she'll likely get up and try to run off again.

Then I'll have to chase her down and tear at her until she collapses. If she's badly wounded, she'll die, and I can eat. But I don't like the idea of a chase.

She may have some friends in the herd, and they may come and help her. And I'm not sure I have the strength for a long chase."

"I'll think about it later," she said.

Then she got up and walked over to the edge of the field.
