Zoous is a patient and loving male lion who is also intelligent and quick-witted. Always on his feet. Named after the great god of Olympus he is powerful and confident. Willing to do anything for his pride, his family. Zeus was raised by a mother of his own but was left defenseless awhile before he was ready for the world. A young arrogant lion tries to kill him so that his mother would be free for grabs. But his mother being the protective and nurturing lioness that she was stood in the way of the lion hurting her cub. Ultimately the arrogant lion killed Zoous’s sweet mother in a fearce battle of dominance. The lion left Zoous behind with his fallen mother only looking back to glare at him in an arrogant way. Zoous learned quickly that he was on his own and needed to be fearce to survive. And he learned the ways of a lion soon. Now he is older, no longer a defenseless little cub. And he will protect his pride and territory with his life. It is all he has after all. He knows his sweet mother watches him from the skies guiding him on along his journey to become the best. Though he is not rude and cruel, he is rather calm and patient, yet strict and protective. He will be willing to lean different ways and offer different things as long as it benefits him and his pride. Zoous is confident and assured that he will rule over his pride and world in the strong way the Zeus ruled. Not having as bad as a personality or way of mind as him of course. He has lost many cubs in his time being a leader of a pride, but the loss of his and Kia’s cub Sun, crushed him. Kia was the first lioness to join his pride, they fell in love and she was with him through everything. They had two daughters together for their first litter, only one of them staying in the pride after they grew up, Star. And for their second litter only one of their cubs survived being born, Sun. Zoous wasn’t ecstatic about Sun, as he wasn’t special looking, and he was weak. But he really loved him, as he was his and Kia’s son. So when Sun wandered away from the pride and disappeared, most definitely dead, Zoous was stricken with grief, his only son with Kia, gone, dead. He has found many beauties over the course of becoming a stronger lion and being a dreamboat lover. He is popular with the lionesses around his pride, always getting his fair share of love. And a good thing about him is that sometimes he realizes that a few of the cubs in his pride born from his lionesses aren’t his cubs at all, but another lions. He is fine with it though, as he doesn’t want inbreeding and loves them all the same anyway. His pride grows stronger everyday that he leads it, and he just hopes that someday the heir that he will eventually choose, will lead the pride into greatness, just as Zoous has, and he hopes that they will be as loving as he is to his lionesses and cubs.
