Once a keen and steady hunter, Lyra was always able to take down any prey she desired. After her incident with an elephant calf, she became visually impaired in her right eye (scar) and became blind in her left. Although Tesni and Roots tried to convince her she could still hunt, Lyra refused and took on the role of being a brood mother. For once in her life, she slowed down and allowed herself to take it easy.
