Cactus welcomed Beta to the pride to spend a few days watching pride life. She first was treated to a yummy buffalo carcass before being introduced to the rest of the pride. She then played with a lion skull and spent sometime admiring it. After that Beta joined in on a hunting party and caught a large zebra. She then went to the nursery where all the cubs lived and immediately got swarmed by little fur balls. The group of cubs introduced themselves to Beta and asked her to join in their hunting game. In the process she was attacked by a cub who was a little too much into the game and acquired her first scars.

The next day it was time to wish Beta off to continue her journey. As a farewell gift she was given some very pretty flowers for her to wear so she would remember her time in Cactus's pride.
