Cerrin

Cerrin was the child of a rather poor lioness. The mother's heart was terribly broken upon her child's birth, and subsequent death. All the mother could do was visit the poor cubs final resting spot and mour, weeping violently. Such powerful emotions have a life to them, and in releasing them to the universe the mother had unintentionally roused old spirits, including that of their child. At first Cerrin tried to comfort their mother, but they noticed what relief the episodes would bring, and how each visit resulted in less anguish, more remembrance. It was a horrible, beautiful thing to witness, the healing of a wound by tearing it open over and over. Cerrin now roams the savannah, offering company in spirit to those who need a cathartic experience, and helping guide them towards healing.


Catharsis = the process of releasing strong or repressed emotions.

Cerrin runs over to Grandpaw Dalamus and pushes under his paws to hide. When another cub comes over and asks him where Cerrin is, Grandpaw Dalamus says he has no clue!
