NANA Saint of Rebellion Through time and space - eternally Died on the 12th of April 2023. She never got to see her two daughters Rin and Naki grow up, with them being 1 year and 9 months old at the time of her death. And that, that is something she feared more than death itself. Her final litter brought her her finest two treasures, and they got ripped away from her far too soon. Her aunt Eden took her place as the pride’s oldest member at 11 years and 11 months, an aunt who NANA ironically had raised as a younger sibling. Eden held NANA’s weakened paw and said: “It’s my turn to pay you back for what you did for me. You can die knowing the hunting skills you once taught me will live on in your daughters”. NANA’s chains rattled as she took her last gasping breath. She knows what's wrong and what's right and truly stands by it, even if it means stepping on numerous toes. Standing her ground and representing those who obey from the usual pride system. This has gained her a large following of supporters and admirers - mainly young female adolescents who finally have someone they can look up to and truly relate to. What adds to the mystery around her image is that no one has seen her eyes, with her heavy black fringes always covering them. There's always gonna be rumours from lions who claim they know what her eyes look like. "Red as the rivers of blood during the feast...two empty black holes...greener than the fields on the first day of spring..." This either makes other lions uncomfortable or annoyed, meanwhile others dream of one day be the one to meet her glance. Even when being heavily protective of others herself, - she just has a hard time trusting and relying on others. She likes to keep things to herself, mainly because she think it's for the better.
