Lila, a proud and graceful lioness, roamed the vast lands of Myona's pride. Her fur was the color of midnight, reflecting the moonlight that bathed her in an ethereal glow, with gilded bronze markings. Her eyes held the wisdom of ages, shining like twin stars guiding lost souls through the darkness. Her journey to this peaceful land had been long and arduous, marked by hardship and heartache. She had been born in a far southern pride, but was forced to flee after a power struggle left her family decimated and her own life hanging by a thread. The young lioness wandered aimlessly for days, until she stumbled upon the lush greenery of Myona's domain.
Taken aback by the beauty and serenity of this unfamiliar land, Lila decided to make it her home. She had approached the pride with caution, uncertain of their reaction to an outsider. To her surprise, she was welcomed with open paws and a warm embrace. The other lions could sense the strength and resilience that coursed through her veins, and they knew she would be an asset to their community.
As she integrated into the pride, Lila took the time to learn about the different caves and their respective goddesses. Each cave had its own unique culture, traditions, and customs, and she was fascinated by them all. In particular, she was drawn to Lunar's cave, where the lions worshiped the goddess of the moon. There, she found solace and a sense of belonging.
One moonlit night, as Lila sat at the entrance of Lunar's cave, she felt a familiar presence approach her. It was Myona himself, the mighty king of the pride. He looked at her with eyes that held both respect and admiration. In that moment, she knew that he saw her not as an outsider, but as an equal. They announced their first litter just months later and Lila became the true queen.
You walk deeper into the ravine, your paws slipping on the rocky, gravel. A dark and gloomy cave appears suddenly, it seems to suck the light out of the surroundings. Two sapphire blue eyes peek out of the darkness and a large lioness leaps out of the cave. Her claws were extended and gleaming as she pounced, growling lowly.
"What are you doing here?" She hissed, her ears were pinned back, a dangerous expression on her face.
You step back as her claws whistle by your face, just barely missing.
"Whoa, whoa. Your king is letting me visit, I'm just looking around." You say quickly. Her expression lifts slightly and the unknown lioness steps back.
"Alright then, I'm Lila." She says slowly, her voice still laced with venom, "I'm the guard of this cave."
