Carta: (n) Latin for “paper.” When The First Sunrise first decided to start a pride, he didn’t have much. Some territory, a fancy name, (he came up with it himself!) but not much. Then he found Carta. He immediately befriended her, and she even bore his cubs! Those cubs decided to start their own prides or whatever…let’s not think about the alternatives. When the cubs left, TFS and Carta’s relationship fell apart, both insisting they were better as friends. Both were too romantic to stay without love for long, getting back together quite soon. They’re still a mushy couple, disgustingly so. At least they’re happy, always trying to one up each other with compliments and gifts, much to the chagrin of the cubs and less soft-hearted lions. You ran up and greeted Carta happily. Oops, you also knocked her over with your gleeful shoulder-nudge. Ah well, she just fell over giggling and flailing.
