Kurtis can smell Oulo and Ria's heat approaching. He huffed, he knows he should be protective of his pride. Obsessive is what he's heard most lioness out in the wild say. However, Oulo has shown no interest in Kurtis in an intimate way. He would hate to force anyone. Ria on the other hand has stated how she always wished for cubs who have colorful marks as her. Kurtis's coat is a gorguse amber, he wasn't sure if he could give her that wish. So he decided that he would let them pick who they lay with during their heat. He trust his lioness loyalty, he picked them but they chose him at the end of the day. Ria was quite surprised to hear such a suggestion. She always known pride leaders to be overwhelmingly possessive. To the point where they would kill any cubs with different blood. Kurtis was a very odd leader. However, she was very intrigued by the idea.
