Silk was given to Pounce in a trade for another mutation and she was immedately made a broodmother, it took some getting used to but she managed. For a long while she had to watch ALL the cubs in the pride. Which was hard. Eventually Pounce noticed this and got Rain. The new broodmother. Silk and her immediately hit it off and fell heavy in love, They became mates rather quickly. Eventually Rain had 2 cubs. Stormy and Spider. However Spider sadly died at birth. Stormy as a student when Rain died of sickness. Silk stayed at her grave for days and even once she returned to her cave she didn't eat for a long time. Pounce noticed this and got Mist. A lioness who looked much like Rain. Silk however in a frenzy of rage attacked her and Pounce. Silk chose to ignore Rain and become a much more silent broodmother. However everything changed after Starburst's death. Silk never knew her well, But seeing her clanmates grieve like she was was almost sobering. But once Whisper came forward, at first Silk was sceptical. But once he perfectly described Rain she was convinced. It was nice knowing she was still looking down on her. So she defended Whisper and made him her student and created the Shaman role for him. She views him as a son.
