Not much is known about Hecate as she’s a lioness of very few words. Many moons ago Nyx personally brought her into the pride, but as to where Nyx had brought her from was never shared. Though at first considered an outsider, and quite strange by her fellow lionesses for the whispers she would utter to the sky as if it spoke back, her soft-spoken and respectful nature quickly earned her a place within the pride. She seems to have a soft spot for cubs. Many lionesses suspect that Nyx expects Hecate to replace her when she joins their ancestors. They can sometimes be seen sharing meals and private conversations. Cubs have tried to eavesdrop, but they always seem to know when they’re being listened in on.
