Moonlight joined the pride when Rigel was king, she had 2 litters with him before Craven took over. Both her litters were chased away by Rigel as they were deemed too weak to stay in the pride. For that she resented Rigel and those losses made her swear off having cubs. Instead she wanted to just raise cubs but not have her own, Rigel accepted this but always made it her problem by making sly comments to her now and again about wanting to try again. After Rigel left Craven understood her pains and told her she would never have to worry about him forcing her to breed. Soon after Craven became king a lioness named arcticwarmth had a litter of cubs one of which wanted to leave and join Cravens pride to make it easier on her mother. Crave came to Moonlight asking if she would like to raise the cub. Moonlight agreed and now has an adopted daughter named bagheera within the pride whom she is very close to. raising bagheera made moonlight realize she eventually wants her own cubs, not just yet. but maybe one day with craven.
