As you open your eyes a small kit appeared, taken aback Aruna asked the cub where she came from. Mourna seemed to ignore Aruna, his words falling on "deaf ears." Mouna The Unheard may not be able to hear you approach, but she always seems to know when you're near. When you question her about it, you were told your smell gave you away! Maybe it’s time for a trip to the waterhole? You tried to tell Mouna The Unheard a funny story about something that happened when you were exploring, but she didn't appear amused. Seems like your story fell upon "deaf ears." You were startled awake by Mouna The Unheard rearranging some rocks within your den. It seems she hadn't realised how loud she was being! Mouna The Unheard seemed upset that she couldn’t go hunting with the others. You began to explain that it was only to protect her from any threatening predators, but stopped when you realised it was a futile effort. Instead, you chose to sit close to her and nuzzle her comfortingly Had it not been for the vibrations from the stampede, Mouna The Unheard would have been promptly trampled by the oncoming mass of wildebeest. Then a stalking poacher would have put a quick end to Mouna The Unheard, were it not for the hunter's poor ability to aim. You notice Mouna The Unheard delicately sniffing at flowers that are surrounding your den. They've decided to stick close to home today, unwilling to get in the way of any pride members. When they notice you're watching, they smile and greet you with an odd-sounding meow. Perhaps Mouna The Unheard being deaf isn't such a bad thing. While exploring, a colourful bird decided to appoint itself as your new best friend, and has taken to cawing and tweeting every few seconds.. Very, very loudly. You're envious that Mouna The Unheard is completely oblivious to the obnoxious feathery idiot. An approaching pack of hyenas nearly made a meal out of Mouna The Unheard. Fortunately, another lion scattered them off before Mouna The Unheard even realised they were there. If only Mouna The Unheard had been able to hear the rattle, warning them off from the snake's nest. Alas, the warning went unheeded, and the mother rattlesnake struck swiftly..
