Comet Shimmer enthusiastically brought you a wildebeest liver as a treat! Too bad it's your least-favorite food. Ah well, she doesn't have to know that.
Comet Shimmer rolls in front of you to play, but then she realizes there is a blood stain on her belly. She looks embarrassed and leaves in a hurry!
You move towards Comet Shimmer to greet her affectionately, but she head-butted you in greeting too hard. Ouch, that smarts a bit.
You say hello to Comet Shimmer and ask how she is doing. She says she is fine, and both of you sit in silence for a minute before just sort of...going to do...something else. Ahem.

Comet Shimmer has always been an extremely awkward cub; she always seems to fumble and say the wrong thing or simply not talk at all. She was the youngest in her age group and training as a broodmother rather than a huntress or defender, so she was the one who was always left out until Sweet Marula joined the pride. Finally someone took the time to get to know her, and Comet Shimmer couldn't be happier. The two quickly became best friends. Comet Shimmer was Sweet Marula's biggest support after her incident.
As she got older, the pride realized that the only lions Comet Shimmer wasn't awkward around were the cubs of the pride. She felt like she could let her weird, silly quirks shine and that they wouldn't judge her. They love when she makes up stories for them or wiggles with them in the dirt.
