Dottie ventured into this pride from her own - which had lived a hard and violent life in the outlandish where the water was plentiful but the marshy, mosquito ridden territory was home to little except for the crocodiles and hippo's, which made every sip of water or step off dry land dangerous and uncertain. Raised to show little mercy and take care of herself only, Dottie blissfully watched one sunrise while the king of her former pride was drug from the banks by a mildly tiffed hippo. She adorned what was left of him as an ode to her former life, before seeking greener pasture (and dryer ones). While her hardships have made her an excellent swimmer and cunning hunter, she hopes that herself, her cubs, grand-cubs, and so forth will never have to see such a hard life again.
