As you chase a lonely hare through the thickets you stumble across an open clearing and once your eyes adjust to the brightness of it you see several pairs of eyes observe you. Quickly getting back on your paws and shaking the leaves off from your pelt you study the small group. Most of them are cubs, huddled behind a single lioness who's not much bigger than her pupils are yet her features had some age to them. She raised her chin defiantly and you realise she had drawn her claws out.

"Oh! Apologies, I didn't mean to startle you!" you quickly blurt out, trying hard not to scare the cubs and the lioness.
"I was just trying to catch that hare that ran by before"

With that, she eases up a little and a smile tugs at the corner of her mouth. "Very well then, I was just teaching the cubs about hunting techniques, if you want, you're welcomed to join," the dwarf says and then adds with a wink : "Who knows, maybe you'll learn a thing or two."
