Born 2022 - 10 - 15 ----------------------------------------------------------- Nugget wanted to play "Lion, Lion, Hyena!" with their siblings today, but they were pushed out of the group and teased for being a little crycub. You were about to go over and see if they were okay when Grandpaw Nightshade arrived, telling the little cub not to mind the others too much, and that he would be happy to play instead. Brightening up immediately, Nugget clambers up onto the great lion's back and the two go off to play elsewhere, while Grandpaw Nightshade tells an interesting story about meeting a lion called Apedemak... or was that Apollyon? Nothing would calm down the wailing Nugget until they were passed to Grandpaw Nightshade's paws. The old lion smothers Nugget with his mane until they start giggling. After Nugget was pushed into the mud by an elder sibling, Grandpaw Nightshade was the first to pick them up and give them a bath. Even as Nugget sniffles, Grandpaw Nightshade gives them some good advice on what to do next time. When Nugget darts to Grandpaw Nightshade with a small rodent in their jaws, Grandpaw Nightshade tells them how wonderfully they'd done, and says they'll make an excellent hunter in the future. You see Grandpaw Nightshade giving some heartfelt advice to Nugget about how to treat the lionesses properly. The cub was listening well enough, which relieves you.
