Nica (Knee-ka) is a gracious and kind lioness. She is the daughter of Sitavel and Stormstar. Zoous took Nica’s mother, Sitavel in as he thought she was very pretty, perfect to have his cubs. But before they could mate, Sitavel accidentally met up with a lead male lion from another pride, Stormstar, who was getting some time away from his pride and exploring. They started talking and fell in love with each other, and ended up having Nica and Blank. Nica and Blank do not know that their real father is Stormstar, Sitavel and Stormstar not wanting to risk anything by telling them. Nica noticed that something was up though, from when Nica and Bkank were just a few months old, Sitavel always somehow found an excuse to be away from the pride a whole day every few weeks. Nica knew that she was up to something but didn’t want to get her mother in trouble, so she didn’t investigate further. Nica is very loyal to her parents, Sitavel her mother, and Zoous who she thinks is her father, but her real father is actually Stormstar. She likes to listen to everyone while they are telling stories or talking about random things, always trying to figure out the best side to pick. She likes to explore just like her mother. She loves her “father” Zoous, as he loves her, thinking she is the most beautiful cub he has ever had. Wanting to take care of her forever. He is very protective of her and Blank. He loves to spoil them so much, taking them in patrols around the territory so they can explore, bringing them gifts from outsid the pride’s territory, cuddling them, etc. he is also really in love with her mother, Sitavel. She is really sweet and loving towards other lions. Her mother left the pride after Nica became an adult, not being able to stand looking at Zoous and never feeling able to tell Nica about her father, she has to leave. Nica was very upset about her mother leaving as she was her mother, she should always be by Nica’s side. Just before she left Sitavel told Nica that her father was not Zoous, that her true father was a lion named Stormstar, and that he was a king of his own pride. She told Nica to never let Zoous know of this and Nica isn’t so sure she could keep that promise. Nica just wants a family that loves her and that she can live in return without any judgment or fear in the way. She is always comforting and caring for the other lions in the pride when they feel down or need help, and everyone appreciates her a lot.
