When you approach Marika sleeping on the ground, she slowly wakes up, turning on her back and wiggling around. She tries to touch your muzzle with her paws. Marika knew her father had only kept her around instead of passing her onto the gorillas because she was the only cub from her mother's line. Marika had royal blood from Belshazzar's predecessors. She was the granddaughter of Goddess's very first King, King Bricelyn, so many years ago. She prayed that Goddess might grant her mercy and make her coat burn like the inferno queens, or give her some other markings to make the Rarity of her blood match her outsides. She prayed she would give Tavarys, who was always kind to her, cubs that would make him proud, so that even if she couldn't stay, her cubs might live on in her memory.
