A couple of days before she was born the pride’s oneirocritic, Eternal Flame for-told that Moonbeam’s unborn cub would be special. And when Junko was born with a kunzite pelt, something that was long sought after by her pride, Junko soon began to be treated like a goddess and dressed up with jewels. Sick of this special treatment Junko went to Eternal Flame asking what was so special about her. The dwarf lioness revealed that it was only her pelt color. Afraid of the potential backlash, Eternal Flame and Junko are stuck thinking of a way out of the mess they’re in.
One day she wanted to tell her mother that she wasn’t special like she was told so they went on a walk. But to the horror of Junko, Moonbeam was caught in a poacher trap. Moonbeam tried her best to get out but she only had cut her skin on the tight ropes. The poachers were accompanied by the wife of the poacher that her aunt, Dusty had killed. They had wanted revenge! But out of nowhere Dusty leaped onto the one with the gun and killed him. The gun was lost in the fight, but it was a viscous one. The wife had burned Dusty with a torch before being killed by the same lioness that killed her husband. Junko and Dusty got Moonbeam free and they headed home. But little do they know that one poacher had ran away to tell the tale.
Junko gave birth to a daughter who was almost a clone of herself. She was missing a couple markings but the main difference was that the cub didn’t have the same base as her mother. Desperate for a way to make Eternal Flame’s statement of her being special true, they changed her base to kuznite in secret. It worked as the pride
