The forest was a living, breathing entity; a symphony of nature's song, each instrument harmonizing in perfect unison. The towering trees, their branches reaching towards the heavens, swayed gently in the breeze, whispering secrets that had been passed down through generations. The soft earth beneath felt like a comfortable blanket, inviting one to lay down and lose themselves in its embrace. The spirits were intrigued. But it was not the trees, the wind, nor the earth that caught their attention, but instead two forest goddesses who now found themselves standing at the center of it all.
The slender tan lioness, her purple fairy wings laying against her side, seemed to shimmer in the sunlight, as if she were a living jewel, crafted by the gods themselves. Her fogged eldritch eyes, watched the goddess infront of her. The small green goddess stood a few feet away, her black patches stark against her emerald fur. Her bright green eyes held a wisdom that belied her youthful appearance. Her tail, short like a cubs, swished lazily through the underbrush as she stepped forward.
The tan lioness, going by an odd and almost childish name of Katnip, had entered the other goddess's, Gaia's, territory. She did not come here by herself. Her long passed mother and father had led her here. She was the only descendent of her fathers, Knem, the God of the rainforest she once resided in. She was to uphold his legacy and keep his bloodline flowing. But every litter she had never made it. In a desperate attempt she had called on her mother to help her. Even in the afterlife she still listened, guiding her to another Godess, one that could bless her cubs so they will survive.
So here they were, standing a mere five feet away from each other. Gaia heard the trees flow around her, hearing their creaks and their branches swaying. The forest spoke to her, telling her of this lioness's situation.
