Malign was one of the first lionesses Xolotes met in the wild and bewitched him with her charm. She produced Caraxes and Syrax, the first generation of cubs that were both skilled and beautiful. Though rumored to not be the direct descendants of the king, he raised Malign and her bloodline to the monarchy of the pride. It was expected when one of her grandsons was named king, though she seethed when the honor was taken from her own son. Now, she is the eldest in the pride and a great grandmother. She's pleased that her line is certain to continue, and doesn't fear her nearing end.
