BANSHEE's apprentice
You trot towards Dakota to say hello, but you get smacked fiercely onto your cheek. You stand in shock, as she keeps giving you smacks, one after another, until you let out a growl, to which she replies with a roar. Women. You like them rough, don't you?

Dakota specializes and teaches hunting
Dakota pushes you to the edge, her claws digging into your head as she forces you to look down,
"I was shoved off the side of this exact cliff while fighting a pissed herd of buffalos! If you dont snap out of your fucking princess perfect life your gonna feel just how bad it hurts."
You felt your blood dripping down your forehead then it fell off your face and into the depths below. Your whole body was shaking. You were just an adol you kept telling yourself,
"At my pride-" She shoved you off. You yelped and tried to grab onto the cliff but couldnt and just as you were about to screech you felt Dakotas sharp fangs dig into your neck and yank you back up. She throws you onto the ground and roars in your face,
"Dont ever say that again! You are in this pride now. You are no longer a princess! YOU are a filthy rat that cant even hunt without distracting MY hunters with your complaints. So leave and fend for yourself or become apart of our pride already. "
Dakota turns to leave but stops and looks at you with a softened look. Still a glare, but definitely not as intense,
"The world wont stop for you. If you cant keep up you will die."
And with that she left you to curl up in your misery. Because some people cant change. No matter how many times they're told to be thankful. People like their depression. They dont like leaving it either. Sometimes they are blinded and lying to themselves its their only comfort. Keep your head up and keep moving. It gets harder. Take on the world confidently. <3
You charged Dakota as soon as you saw her this morning. She snarled in ferocity and tackled you to the floor. You didn't miss the grin behind her snarl, though!
Dakota staggered through the dense underbrush, each step sending waves of pain through her battered body. Her brown fur, marked with dark rosettes and streaked with blood, clung to her muscular frame. Her breath came in ragged gasps, each one a struggle. The bright pink eyes that usually shone with fierce determination were now dull with exhaustion.
She had been separated from her pride during a brutal clash with a rival group. Her entire life had been dedicated to war, every muscle honed for combat, every lesson steeped in blood and discipline. Her raspy voice had bellowed commands to young lions, molding them into fierce warriors. But now, she was alone, her strength ebbing away with every passing second.
Dakota’s legs finally gave out, and she collapsed onto the forest floor, the world around her fading into darkness.
When she regained consciousness, she felt the unmistakable touch of human hands on her fur. Her eyes snapped open, a low growl rumbling from her throat despite her weakened state. The humans, dressed in earthy tones and smelling of strange, antiseptic substances, worked quickly but carefully, tending to her wounds. Dakota’s instinct was to lash out, to fight these creatures who she had been taught to despise and kill on sight. But she was too weak.
She tried to rise, a feral snarl escaping her lips. "Get away from me," she rasped, her voice carrying the edge of a warrior even in her weakened state. "I'll tear you apart."
But the humans did not retreat. They continued their work, murmuring softly to each other in a language she did not understand. Despite herself, Dakota felt the sting of antiseptic and the soothing balm on her wounds, the gentle hands working methodically to save her life.
She didn’t know how long she had been drifting in and out of consciousness, but when she finally awoke again, the pain was less intense. Her sharp eyes took in her surroundings—she was in a large enclosure, the scent of humans and other animals mingling in the air. The den was unlike any she had ever seen, with strange structures and objects she couldn’t comprehend. She was supposed to be still drowsy from the sedatives but it didnt last as long as it would on normal lions. Her gaze flickered to the door. Thats her escape.
And then the door handle flicked once, twice, then she saw him—a lion? Opening a human door with his teeth? Dakota’s muscles tensed, her claws flexed into the bed she was laid onto. Hope flickered in her chest that he was there to get her out of there. That he would help her kill the humans.

It had been one of the busiest months in years that Mitch and his human companions had to deal with. He never knew why, maybe it was because he wasn't in any normal clan like the rest of the other lions out in the Savannah.
But each year the lions partake in these strange tournament where they would fight one another to the brink of death and sometimes so.
The clinic was full of injured lions and it was Mitch's duty to see how they were doing and could provide help wherever it was needed. He had learnt the shapes and colors of the different medication and what they were used for so he had no problem in slipping one to an injured lion who seemed to be really struggling with the pain.
And yet when he saw the new lioness being bough inside he was in awe, not only was she beautiful with a dark coat that was full of leopard type spots but the energy she gave off was that of a strong warrior.
Mitch mentally told himself this was going to me a hard case but he wasn't gonna give up on her.
It took a day before he heard the said lioness was finally waking up and decided to give her a visit. He thought it would be good to see a familiar species in an unfamiliar place.
Walking past the huts from his den he received a few head pats from the kids that were running around. Finally at the clinic the cool breeze from inside made his skin twitch and the strong, clean scent of the chemicals filled his nose.
As he walked he searched for a bowl of food, he knows there were some stashed around somewhere for when a lion seemed hungry. Looking over a table he finds a newly prepped bowl with zebra meat as part of the skin was still attached and grounded medication sprinkled on top. Grabbing the edge with his jaw he takes it off of the table.
"Remember to go share Mitch." The redhead doctor call back to him and he only gives a low huff in response, the humans only laugh.
At the door he places the bowl down and opens the door to inside the secluded room.
The lioness was already awake and he felt a bit bashful. He was never really good at talking to anyone and it took a long time for him to seem less awkward. "Hello..." He started off, giving the lioness a kind smile.
He can't imagine what she has gone through and would rather have her see him as a friend and not foe.
Grabbing the bowl of food he places it inside the room before closing the door with his paw till it makes a soft click, "I hope your hungry, freshly caught zebra. It put up a bit of a fight but the huntresses know what they are doing." With his eyes cast down he makes his way to sit in front of her so it would be easier for her to look at him without straining her neck.
"Uhm I'm Mitch. I can understand if this all seems strange to you, but I promise you're in safe hands...and paws."
He stayed quiet not wanting to overwhelm her with to much information.
