Nero watched her father place the dark crown upon her sister's head, her own tilted in confusion. Where was Nero's crown. She looked to her mother, but Aquilla was staring at Zuora, her eyes filled with what could only be described as a look of complete and utter love. Nero felt her rounded ears flatten against her head. Was she not good enough for the crown? She too was the daughter of Zuora. Had the ancestors not valued her enough? She slipped away from the cheering crowd, bitterness filling her heart. It was from that moment that Nero became not the perfect daughter that the king already had, her sister. But a vessel for evil and hatred forever onwards.
