IceCube \| 11/25/22 Your lioness notices her Cub is different to all the others. It doesn't move, barely breathes, and its muzzle... It's just causing her heart to shatter. IceCube died last night due to being lethally deformed. 🥀 Tomorrow when the poachers find this freak of nature, they will wrap her body in newspaper and carry her to the museum. But tonight she is alive and peaceful in the snow. It is a perfect winter evening: the moon rising over the waterfall, the cold wind hitting her face. And as she stares into the sky, there are way more stars for her then any other. Sauron is eagerly talking to Grandpaw Yules, asking him for advice on how to be respected by others. Grandpaw Yules proudly tells them how he made everyone respect him by regaling the cub with some exaggerated "amazing adventure" from when he was younger. Yeah, right, old man! You were there when that all happened, and it's not even close to how it really went down. Not wanting to break the cub's enamoured concentration, though, you simply turn and trot off, leaving Grandpaw Yules to puff up his ego with false tales.
