Maru left her birth pride with her stag beetle, feeling excited, however still equally as nervous to see what awaited her on her journey.

Maru tires after a long walk north, spotting a cave almost hidden behind many species of unknown plants. She heads towards the cave, just hoping for a rest. A soft voice speaks from behind her, almost angelic in tone. "Can i help you?" Maru flips around, noticing a lioness and a cub. The cub stayed quiet, while the lioness spoke once again. "Miss?" The lioness says questioningly. Maru replies, realizing in her shocked state, she hadnt answered. "Im looking for a place to stay for a while- two nights at most." "The lioness walks over, intrigued while the cub followed shyly. "My name is Hound- and this is my cub dante. yours?" "Maru" She answers nervously. "Well Maru, welcome to Charlies Angels." (End of Roll #1)
Maru awakens the next morning, after falling asleep in what seemed to be the most welcoming cave she could have found. She had met Hound the night before, along with her cub Dante. Hound had taken her around, showing her the many lions/lionesses that belonged to Charlies angels. When Maru inquired as to why the pride was called this, Hound hushed her. "It has always been named this way. We ask no questions here." Maru thought that was weird, but kept to her own. She had a fun day with the pride, after meeting the pride leader, who only smiled at the sight of the visitor. Albeit the weird encounter she had earlier, and slightly weird vibes, Maru, after saying her goodbyes, left with a smile. After a long travel Maru finally arrives at a dark, gloomy forest. Having nowhere else to go she ventures inside and as she thought she got lost, she finally arrived at what seemed to be a camp. A huge, dark male approaches her coming out of some bushes and speaks to her in a deep, soothing voice. “Would you look at that, apparently we have some company!” He groans as he gives her a warm smile before introducing himself. “I'm Kimya, what's your name, little one?” “It's Maru.” She replies shyly. “Well Maru, you're absolutely welcome in this pride! Follow me.” He says before turning around and walking a few steps, turning his gaze back to Maru making sure she was following. She hesitates a bit but finally follows him into a huge cave, a dim light illuminating the cave. A dull colored male stops sharing tongues with a female and roses up to his paws before approaching the adolescent, smiling. “A new pride member?” He asks suddenly, flicking his tail. “N-Not really, i'm just here to spend a night or two before leaving. I'm a travelling lioness.” She quickly explains before sitting down, facing the two males. “Ah, then make yourself at home, i'm sure you'll find a friend or two! I'm Mdogo, by the way, the king of this pride.” The male glances at Maru briefly as she introduces herself, offering her a bed in the main cave before leaving.

Maru wakes up after a long, restful sleep and decides to explore the den. She meets a few adolescents and kits, but after looking around she sees a tunnel leading to another place. “What is that?” She asks to one of the adolescents, who quickly replies with a purr. “I'm not really sure, our king sometimes brings a few pride members in there and they stay for a while before coming back, they usually bring kits with them aswell!” “Are we allowed to come in?” Maru asks. “Yeah, I guess. We were never told to not come in, so I believe it's okay if you just went in and checked it out.” The adolescent grunts before laying down lazily and Maru quickly trots there, without anybody stopping her. She enters a huge cave where a few lionesses rested at, all of them being colorful. Maru sits there for a while speaking to one of the lionesses, quickly becoming fond of her and sharing her stories as the lioness listened carefully with a smile, later introducing herself as Dapple'Shade. Maru tells her she has to go as she is a traveler lioness and wishes to visit more prides and the lioness nods, but before she leaves the cave she gifts her an odd-looking pendant. The adolescent thanks her before going into the another cave and telling them too that she had to now leave, one of the sub-males scorting her out of the territory making sure she leaves safely.

“And this is the Polaris-“ the dark pelted lioness, Elowyn broke off to give an irritated glare to one of the croup of younglings who were laughing bit too loudly. They instantly fell quiet. She gave a smuggish smile before continuing her lecture of constellations and omens and how to read them and understand their purpose to all things living. Of course, it was interesting to listen to the old Seer of the pride but Maru hadn’t slept for a good while now since she had been travelling the whole day and now she has to stare at the stars till dawn! And of course she had only herself to blame in this since she herself has volunteered to help Elowyn with her scrolls, being caught in one of her lessons. No one seems to need help now, though, she thought and crept away from the crowd.

Maru was welcomed to the giant rain forest that old king made his home in, many gins and oddities welcomed her , the first two to welcome her was the king and his heir , the heir looked odd ,he looked bigger, he had bigger fangs that protruded out of his mouth and a bigger build, but he looked as he was no older than a year and a few months though, maru was astonished ! he had wings! and little animals following him too! .As Alastair stepped closer to her , he loomed over her ,an emitting a scoff as he walked away momentarily , he returned with Horse carcass in his jaws and plopped it down before her , Alastier spoke in a worry some tone "Eat, you need it, it was a long journey from your pride to our lands " then he gave a toothy grin to the young lioness before sitting down next to the old king. Sabastian spoke in a fatherly tone " yes, yes, i assume Alastier is correct, you need to eat to bring back any lost energy from traveling to this pride . " Maru gratefully ate as much as she could of the horse carcass as she could to get as much energy as possible .
before Sabastian and Alastier could get anything out of their maws , a young lioness and a young abnormal male ,announce that a local pack of hyenas are infiltrating the kingdom and starting to attack the den where all the cubs are located , before Maru can think Sabastian leaps over the two adolescence gracefully and shouts with his teeth bared " ALASTIER GET THESE KIDS TO SAFETY AND ALERT THE VAGABONDS . NOW . ! " and just like that he was off . Alastier got Maru and the cubs to safety and left to do what he was told . There was distant yelping and roaring for a while , it died down after about 30 to 40 minutes ( it was a large pack of hyenas). Sabastain and Alastier came and said the coast was clear with a few wounds from the fight they were a little tired and said their goodbyes after going to clean themselves , eat and rest for the night
As maru woke up in the warm cave the day she had to leave she couldn't help but feel as though she wanted to just sleep the day away and stay in the warmth for as long as she could , but her king would be upset if she didn't move on . she got up and took a stroll of the territory eating up the good sights of the rain forest . she heard quacking as she wanted to lay down near the clean lake and relax for a bit , she looked beside her and there was a teal like duck right beside her and decided to stick around with her for who knows how long! < Mascarene Teal acquired!>

Maru woke up at the edge of the lake just as the sun was rising. Maru was surprised to see the most unimpressive male she has seen. As the male approached, Maru saw just how ordinary this male was, however something about him invited her in. The male walked closer to Maru and drank the lake water and sat and watched the sunrise with her. Maru asked the lions name and was even more discouraged at the name...Simba of Trikru...how original. Even with the name there was a kindness to him that invited her in. During her time with Simba's pride various celebrations occurred. Maru was painted with elegant lines and swirls that signified the most beautiful in the pride. After the celebrations ended Maru went back to the lake where she first met Simba and again rested her head.
Meruňka's Pride:
Maru returned to her birth prides territory, adorned with swirls and a pendant, aswell as some new friends she had brought along from other prides. She hurriedly made her way back to the den, freezing at the entrance once she noticed not many lioness or cubs present. Šeřík, the primal lioness who was sat closest to the entrance looked up at her, looking exhausted as she quickly, quietly murmured ``Are you of this prides blood.?``. Maru paused for a moment before sitting infront of the strange lioness. ``yes, I am of this prides blood, I am Maru. A traveling lioness, I came back to see how everyone was..-``. The primal nodded as she spoke, quickly standing up once Maru had finished. `` I am Šeřík, follow me to the others.`` she hurriedly walked towards the back of the den, pushing through some strung up branches into a cave filled with lioness and cubs. Maru looked around, seeing a few strange lioness wearily watch her as Šeřík lead her to a lioness tucked into the far corner. `` Isis`` Šeřík spoke, bowing her head slightly to the lioness. `` I have brought someone who claims to be of this prides blood, she says her name is Maru and she is a traveler``. Isis looked up at Maru, her tired eyes lighting up once she recognised the colourful lion. ``Ah! Maru my dearest, you back! How have you been? Are you hurt? Hungry? Tired? Do you need anything?`` Isis flooded her with questions, only pausing when she heard a loud roar from the entrance cave. Isis hurriedly gestured for Maru to lay beside her. ``Isis..? What's going on?`` Maru worriedly hummed to the older lioness beside her. `` Meruňka.`` she whispered as a large lion shoved his way through the sticks, his eyes checking over each lioness, making sure the were all accounted for, his eyes finally landing on Maru. ``You. Colourful one!, Come here.`` He spat out. Maru wearily stood, walking up to the larger lion. ``Who are you? Why are you with my lioness.`` He asked, lowering his head to be at eye-level with Maru. `` I am Maru, I am of W3nd!gos blood, I am a traveling lioness.`` . ``Who-? Wait.. The former king of this pride?`` He scoffed, lifting his head and walking around her, prodding at her painted swirls and gem, standing back infront of her after awhile, staring at her for a moment, before raising his paw, swiping at her necklace, knocking her over in the process. ``you know some of my lioness so you may stay. For now. Get rid of that gem.`` he huffed out, glaring down at her as she sputtered, pawing at the broken cord on her necklace as he walked away. End of rollover #1/?

Maru was laying beside Isis, tiredly looking around at the many lioness still in the cave, most of them she did not recognise from when she was here before.
A cub stepped on her tail, her head whipped around, seeing some of the older cubs behind her, staring up at her before quickly scampering behind Isis. `` Šipka! Níže! Apologize to Maru,`` Isis huffed out, sitting up and turning to the cubs. ``So-sorry miss-`` Níže mumbled out. ``Yeah.. 'm sorry miss, I didn't mean to step on your tail`` Šipka said, both cubs looking downright terrified, with how Meruňka was she could understand. `` Hey it's alright, I was just a bit surprised, that's all, are you two alright?`` Maru gently hummed out, her eyes flitting between the cubs. ``yeah-, 'm ok`` Šipka quickly responded, glad and confused at why she wasn't mad. ``I think I'm alright``Níže hummed. ``good, now, run along and be careful not to step on anyone elses tai-`` Maru started, trailing off mid sentence at a noise from the entrance, he's back. ``girls! Change of plans, go lay by Isis, and be quiet, very quiet.`` she sputtered out, turning her head back to her other side, reaching down to pick something up, placing it back down in between her front paws, it was a cub? It was a cub... She had a cub. ``Maru-...`` Isis mumbled, she knew what would happen to that cub once he saw it, while Maru was colourful and bright this cub was.. not. At that moment Meruňka came in, his eyes once again checking over each lioness in the cave before landing on Maru, quickly walking over to her, standing infront of her expectantly. ``Well?. Where is it.` he huffed out after a moment.
She gently nudged the small sand coloured ball of fur infront of her, pushing the cub a bit closer to him, while still keeping him in between her paws as she sat up. ``This-? What is this? One cub? One.? And what is that colour?.`` he angrily spat out, looking back and forth between the cub, and it's mother. `` at least tell me it's a female so I can trade her off for something``. ``I.. Uhm....`` Maru considered lying, but he would know either way as the cub aged. `` My cub is male``, her head hung low as she spoke. ``Male?..`` Isis mumbled, her ears drawing back as she watched their interaction. ``Ofcourse it is. Of course!`` he huffed out, reaching down to pick up the cub, shoving her out of the way, turning and walking out of the cave. Maru landed hard on her side, watching helplessly as he walked out. `` Maru!!`` Isis hurriedly stood, sitting at the lionesses side, gently laying a paw on her. `` oh Maru my dear..... In sorry.. I'm so very sorry..``

Maru lay quiet, her tail tucked out of the way as the cubs played around her, her ears ticked towards the entrance. `` Maru!-.. ????`` Isis gently tapped Maru. ``Ah-? Oh yes Isis?``. `` I've been trying to get your attention, the cubs wanted to give you something`` Isis purred out, looking back to the some of the cubs. Ah, it was Šipka and Níže, and one other cub who she didn't recognize. `` hello girls, Šipka, Níže, who's your little friend?`` Maru gestured to the odd looking cub. `` Hi miss Maru! This is Opar! She came in from the outside a little while ago!.`` Šipka chirped out, shuffling her paws anxiously.
``Ah, alright, well hello Opar,``. `` Now, what is it you girls wanted to give Maru?`` Isis hummed. ``oh- right! I'll go get it!`` Níže squeaked out, hurriedly darting away to the other side of the cave near the entrance. A loud thud sounded outside and Meruňka walked in, looking over at Níže with a huff and going up to Šeřík. The two quietly whispered for awhile before he finally grabbed Níže and walked out.
A new cub came in the next morning. Verti was much older than most cubs he brought in however.

Days passed, then those days turned to weeks, weeks to months, months to almost a year, constantly seeing cubs and lioness come and go, Opar was grown and Isis was getting older, Maru was still there. She tried to leave many times but Isis convinced her to stay, said she was better off here. She believed her. Many years passed. The cubs she had and cared for rarely staying, barely old enough to be weaned by the time Meruňka would take them. Every single cub. Every day all Maru did was eat, care for the cubs, check on the lioness, and sleep. Over, and over, and over for many years. Until a new male cub was brought in, he was different, Meruňka seemed to tolerate him, and Maru took care of him. The cub grew to a young lion, then to a fierce king, all as Maru watched. After many many months the lion challenged the king, who by now was weaker than he would ever admit. He won. Maru and her pride mates were free to roam their territory, Maru watched the cubs and adolescents play outside of the cave and felt glad, glad they get to experience freedom, glad that she got to feel this freedom once more. She was far to old to continue her adventures, but as she watched the cubs play, she knew that atleast they would be to live. Atleast they would get to have their own adventures.. ''Maru!'' she turned her head, it was Isis. '' come meet someone,'' Isis purred out, yawning, licking her ever-greying maw as Maru stood. ''what is it Ma?'' Maru asked, sitting beside the elder feline. ''shh, don't wake her'' Isis hummed out, lifting her paw, uncovering this small, curled up ball of fluff. She was the size of a small housecat and twice as colourful. ''goodness! What's her name,'' Maru squeeked, ''Her name is Osiris, she is my heir, she will take my place in this pride once I'm gone, will you take care of her?'' Isis said, covering the cub with her paw once again. ''ofcourse.,''
