Pyla

Died during Dar'had's reign.

Pylawas a lioness who did not leave anyone indifferent with her pretty pelt and her lovely face. It wasn't long before she charmed Da'rhad and found a place for herself in the Village. She had a strong personality and an iron will to succeed.

Pyla joined the Pride just after the great flood that left the ground spongy and the caves wet. This provided a small respite for the plants, which were the first beneficiaries, but even with their roots greedily drinking the soil, it took a few days before the compacted earth absorbed all the excess water.

It was at this point that Pyla arrived in the territory, leading Kuuma and Tomesha through the temporary wetlands that had formed. Hungry and tired, the three of them had fled their former pride and taken refuge in the lands of Da'rhad under the guidance of Pyla, who had heard of the reputation of these lands.

"Here, no one will come looking for us" she had whispered to her sisters.

And unaware of the rehabilitation of the territory, the three cousins travelers had indeed a few hours of rest. Until they were sniffed out by the hunters who owned the place. Quickly escorted to the Village, they were brought before Da'rhad. Seeing the three new lionesses as a way to increase his power and his hold on the territory, they were allowed to join the Pride.

The cohesion between the new arrivals and the residents went more or less smoothly, certainly thanks to Pyla who would not let anyone send them back on their way after all they had endured.

Meticulous and detailed in everything she did, she succeeded her hunts one after the other with a minimum of injury. Her memory and ability to retain the slightest bit of information made her as useful as dangerous. This had certainly piqued Da'rhad's interest. The King was obviously paying a lot of attention to her. This suited Pyla perfectly, no matter how much the other lionesses were displeased to see their king so fascinated with the young female.

Pyla was intelligent and had an incredible sense of survival. She was doing whatever it took to secure her place here. Therefore, sensing that the rumblings of arguments were beginning to rise in the ranks, she used what she had best: her intellect and her talent to soften the most reluctant lionesses.

And she succeeded, more or less. In any case, her place was made, and her rank too. And she would've fought until the end if someone came to dethrone her.
