Murky Stream sighs, watching Night Sky pace nearby, remembering Glowstar's words. How he knew Night Sky was planning to take Rain's place right after the kinging, and how he thought she should do it. Not that she was complaining, she'd been helping from the start. Arctic Stream was missing. Her youngest cub was missing. Night Sky watched over Tree Bark and Shattered Coral while she searched for their sister, tail lashing as she called her missing cub to no avail. It was when she left the cave, when she stepped outside that she caught the scent of blood, her cub, and Rain's Light. And she roared, for no words could describe her pain and anger as her heart broke for the too-young life snatched from her side, sent to meet Glowstar amongst the stars. And as she roared, she thought she heard a chorus of the missing, as well as Glowstar himself, roar with her. But that's ridiculous... isn't it?
