Yellow Bird was born to Pastel Feathers in her last litter. The cub was always quiet and modest even though she was smart as a whip. The cub mysteriously disappeared a month after being weaned, and the pride sent out many search parties to find her. They could never keep track of her scent, and she never showed up.. Until a month later, when a full-grown lioness with long fur came to camp claiming she was Yellow Bird. It was true that High Priest-King Moonlit Dawn's camp was notoriously hard to find and that this lioness had the same bright yellow pelt as the cub who disappeared, but how did she become an adult in just one month? They allowed Pastel Feathers to confirm if it was her, as a mother could never forget her daughter, and she confirmed that this was Yellow Bird. The pride was confused but overjoyed that she had returned. Yellow Bird herself had no idea what happened to her; all she remembered was something about magic rocks. Since she hadn't had proper training to be a defender or huntress, she was made a broodmother for the pride. She quite enjoys her job alongside Comet Shimmer.
