Cristle was born to one of Alnair's daughters, the previous King before Morpheus. She was born in secrecy, and given to Ophelia and Midsummer Beauty to be raised outside the pride and away from the tyrannical monarch. She grew up being told of where she came from, which raised a sense of duty in her that she must save her pride. One day, she was out in the Primordial Jungle, when she saw a figure of a white lioness in the distance. Curious, she followed her to a small clearing, where in its center stood a boulder with a blade stuck in it. For some reason, she felt compelled to reach it, and she managed to pull it out. She trained for a long time on how to use it before she was confident enough to step into battle with it. With the help of this blade, she joined the revolt and managed to wound Morpheus severely enough, so that he would be vulnerable, giving Sekhmet a chance to deliver the final blow.

As for who she is, Cristle has a strict sense of duty and justice. She will do what she believes is right, no matter the consequences. She can be a little brash and rebellious at times, but ultimately she means well and is not deterred by any obstacles on her path to get where she wants to be.
