Butterfly

After a long morning of training (well, more like playing) with cubs, you find yourself sunbathing on smooth rocks, belly up as you stare into the flaming sky, a lazy paw dunked in the shallow pond beneath you.
You watch how the pond glistens, eyes scanning across the shiny water, slowly drooping in your relaxation. You scan past the glistening, colorful grass before your eyes finally close.
Wait, what?
Before you can react, a shrill yowl pierces your ears, and the 'colorful grass' leaps onto you. You wait for little teeth to chew your ear, or paws to awkwardly push your stomach, but instead you feel the little cub trying it's best to engulf you in a hug.
"I gotcha! You didn't even see me comin!" Butterfly cried proudly.
You don't have the heart to tell her that hugs aren't combative.
