Biography
Saturn is one of the most iconic and recognizable planets in our Solar System, known for its stunning system of rings.

Description:
Appearance: Saturn is a gas giant with a yellowish hue, primarily due to its atmosphere's composition of hydrogen and helium. The planet is famous for its elaborate ring system, which consists of ice particles, rock fragments, and dust.
Size: Saturn has a diameter of about 120,536 kilometers (74,900 miles), making it the second-largest planet in the Solar System after Jupiter.
Atmosphere: The planet’s atmosphere is mostly hydrogen and helium, with traces of methane, ammonia, and other gases. It features bands of clouds and storms, including the notable hexagonal storm system at the north pole.

Location:
Saturn orbits the Sun at an average distance of approximately 1.4 billion kilometers (870 million miles), or about 9.5 astronomical units (AU). It is the sixth planet from the Sun. It takes Saturn about 29.5 Earth years to complete one orbit around the Sun.

Fun Fact:
Saturn's rings are not solid but are composed of countless small particles that range in size from micrometers to meters. Despite their beauty, these rings are surprisingly thin—only about 10 meters (30 feet) thick on average. The rings are also constantly changing due to gravitational interactions with Saturn’s moons and other forces.
