Though she can get along with others just fine, she maintains a palpable emotional distance in order to guard her fragile heart just as her mother had taught. Sarabi is adept at getting others to talk about themselves in order to avoid sharing personal details or vulnerability and prefers surface level conversations. She is quick to raise a thorny shield should a lion try to ask about herself, resulting in most others being uncomfortable in her presence after crossing this line. ⋯ ► Confidant ◀ ▸ Rat (Unknown Species) ▪ Joeffrey ▪ Eccentric ◂ As the reigning monarch of his pride, Dork bestows a familiar to each of the Redeemed at the time of their birth to act as their closest companion as his attention is inevitably claimed by his duties. Her mother names her daughter's companion as tradition dictates. Joeffrey is the name she secretly granted her first son that was culled due to the laws surrounding their bloodline, and she gifted it to the rat with no one else knowing of its significance. Joeffrey revealed to have little care for boundaries or tradition and simply lived as he liked, but he cares greatly for Sarabi's physical and mental well-being. He is known for filching food from his benefactor's carcasses.
