She was given to King Shetani Dark Nova as a gift of good faith, donned in her birth-pride's signature armor and ready to train, when she was an adolescent. Her entire world was turned upside-down when she was chosen to be a huntress who didn't have to be an expert fighter and when she was given a name. For the first time, Sable Wood was being treated as an individual and not as a weapon. She is eternally grateful for King Shetani and the pride she now calls home.
