After her clouded eyes led to her failing to pass the rigorous physical tests required to remain in her father's territory, she was exiled, doomed to wander until she was eaten, or died of malnourishment, then eaten. Luckily, she wandered into the lands of a lion who saw past her unusual markings and disability. She was allowed to rest and recover with the other young lions until she was strong enough to discover her own strengths: due to her impaired vision, she relied on her hearing to navigate, leaving her with a keen sense of where prey were, even when they were shrouded by fog or thick brush. She is a crucial member of the lioness's hunts, directing the others about where to circle around to envelop the prey. Without her talent, this small pride may not be alive today.
