This cub has been born with a facial defect - a cleft lip! Grandpaw Attosh scoops them up and pretends to nom at their belly, slobbering all over Cub - whose sniffling and crying was quickly replaced with giggles and squeals. When Cleft Palate! asks their Grandpaw if he'll be there forever, Grandpaw Attosh has to break the news that, one day, he'll be gone. Before Cleft Palate! can start to panic, Grandpaw Attosh promises them that he'll be watching over them from the stars, and they'll never have to be afraid because he'll always be with them in their heart. Try as you might, you can't seem to find Cleft Palate! anywhere! You spend the better part of your morning searching through your territory, roaring and calling out their name in case they've wandered off. As you pass by Grandpaw Attosh, he softly calls you over and lifts up his paw, revealing the lost cub, who is... fast asleep? It seems they had a nightmare and snuggled up with Grandpaw all night. D'awww...
