the first of magpie’s cubs, echidnae is an esteemed member of the pride. born with all a corvus
pride member could want, she has the trademark features of a future queen; a dark, sleek pelt, bloody red eyes, markings that every lioness dreams of having. but echidnae doesn’t want to be her father’s picket fence dream. growing up on the very inside of the pride was a nightmare for her. when magpie’s other cubs, echidnae’s siblings, all died soon after birth, corvid made her life hell. at only three months old, echidnae watched her mother be thrown down against the hard floor of the pride’s inner walls and screamed at for loosing a litter that was doomed; she wasn’t ready to have more cubs. it was too soon, and corvid knew this, but he still punished magpie. now, echidnae wants to live up to her name, the name who their goddess of justice has. she wants to bring corvid down.
