You shudder as a chill runs down your spine. You look for the cause, just as Calvagh leaps down from where he was hanging on the ceiling. You flinch as one of the black particles floating around him brushes your fur, and he bats it away from you, scolding the shroud of ashen smoke. It swirls in apology. He asks you if you would please help him groom his pelt – his own tongue is pretty useless. Fortunately he has no mane to keep tidy! As you carefully work out the knots in his fur, avoiding the void emerging from his scaly spine, you think Calvagh is quite sweet; still very strange, though.
