Atolla

Atolla a is emotion driven lioness who’s very tactful, and wary about those she first meet.

Though she was a very playful cub, spending her time with den mates and her mother, Oni.

While atolla is more emotional, Oni is more soft, and tends to leave things to resolve on their own, while atolla is more confrontational, this leads a lot of difficult communication between the pair, especially since atolla never met her bio-dad, and never knew of him.

Though without a bio dad, she still had a father figure, it being Kenye, as she was never close to the old prides leader Aikat, for being upset over the fact he had recklessly let her mother mate with a king outside the pride.

Often though, she would not get attached to her den mates, as most came from the free, and were later off chased back, or left at the sanctuary, which made her suffer from abandonment issues. Though a primal she knew, by the name of Saffron, were closer then just “two friends” at least what saffron perceived, though she had always thought of him fondly like a friend, he obviously had other intentions.

Though one male that she always kept her distance away was “jellyfish”, due to the fact he was always anxious, and what Atolla found as weird, especially since his mother had left him in the pride at a young age, she had always threw old rotting prey at him, and had always made a bad Impression of him whenever new cubs had came to stay for a while.

Though jellyfish was a bit terrified of Atolla and her behavior towards him, he had always tried his best to be gentle and kind to Atolla, even though he was a bit hot-headed himself, and had argued with her too, he had always tried his best to be close with her, which made her more angry at him, matters became worse when they were tasked to venture out of the prides by Aikat to look for food.

At first, Atolla hated it, and always got herself in trouble, especially the time she got stuck in a hole of a tree, in which finally succumbing to jellyfish’s help after night was approaching. After the incident she had became more friendly with him, and had stopped throwing insults at the Tom, as well with battling with hyenas, and learning the ways of nature.

When they finally returned, both were Adolescents, near the age of an adult, Aikat congratulated the two for clearing the task, though saffron, a primal, was jealous of Jellyfish, and had hated the fact that the two were close, especially when he had feelings for Atolla.

Atolla was one of the best huntresses in the pride, though best, she always prayed for the prey after death, and gave thanks to nature, growing close to her mother, and slowly learning that the two can embrace each other differently, and learn to grow within their problems and love.

After kenye died though, due to the fact Jellyfish had accidentally led an enemy pride, Atolla grew resentful, and became more bitter, providing her attention on Saffron, and giving jellyfish the silent treatment.

Saffron was then later on named as the new heir, due to kenye’s passing, in which Atolla congratulated, of course she did feel something was off with him, and how deranged at times he could be with cubs and other lionesses, she knew not to question. Saffron had wanted Atolla be her queen, especially since Kilt, Aikats queen, was old, and close to passing just like aikat, that he would be in need of one, especially producing his direct offspring, for the next chosen heir.

Atolla, seeing him as a friend, always rejected him, each time becoming more brutal, with saffron became more sour. Though, when Aikat, was almost brutally killed by a lake, due to drowning of someone, he became paranoid, and stayed in his cave alone with kilt most of his time, becoming more silent, this gave Saffron more power, which Atolla disagreed with how he operated, and how he treated the lionesses and cubs, as well even killing one of the oldest queens last cub, with this, she called him out, Saffron, being shocked, attacked her, locking his jaws on her scruff, threw her against a wall, and cursed her, jellyfish, had came in luckily, and bit off saffrons tail, with this, he was exiled, and all the lionesses could do was stare.

Atolla, wasn’t terrified though, she had venture on to meet with jellyfish, who was living near a stump, close to hyenas and rotting food, asking him to come back, and how the prides becoming more, and more deranged, and how lionesses are starving, with barely no cubs drinking milk, and passing off due to starvation, she admitted that she’s weak herself, and can barely hunt anymore, Jellyfish wasn’t a skilled hunter, but agreed, he had then sought out the pride that killed kenye, and their leader, Kio, a ruthless Tom, who killed with no mercy, of course, kio refused to help, and even laughed at his face, his lionesses and subordinates, finding it comical too, with this, jellyfish killed kio, in a swift fight, earning the prides support.

Atolla seeing the well fed lionesses, and jellyfish bring prey, had gave her hope, and her queens, but jellyfish had still have much to do, especially since saffron had allegiances, he soon gain trust by hyenas, and coyotes alike, promising peace near their pride, due to saffron savagely murdering them as well, especially with their cubs, by now, saffron was completely deranged, and couldn’t care who died or lived, as long as he had power, and with Aikat being withdrawn, and weak himself, he couldn’t protest.

With this a fight broke out being the two prides, blood was shed, and lives were lost. Jellyfish, of course attacking saffron, had tried killing him, but had been overpowered due to his weight, he had kicked his belly and more, losing consciousness with saffrons claw to his throat, Atolla, taking the sight of this, ran, to avenge the lost kits, the queens who cried out, and for natures balance, she locked her jaws tightly on saffrons neck, and twisted it, instantly killing him.

After the pride regain stability, the hyenas had went back to their business, the lionesses from kio’s old pride had joined the new pride with jellyfish, Aikat had named Jellyfish’s as the new king, with Atolla, being jelly’fish’s king, and becoming proper mates for life, she had learned so much, and is grateful to expect jellyfish’s cubs, as well with the idea of seeing her new, beautiful pride, years to come.
