Stellaris

Stellaris was chosen by Rashan when she just three months old. He had been looking for cubs to enrich his pride for a while already before he met Princess Blueberry Pie. The stunning queen offered one of her pride's cubs to him, and he happily agreed. When Stellaris was five months old and strong enough to move, Rashan came to get her.
The lionesses of his pride welcomed the little newcomer, adoring her cute white patches and her dazzling eyes. Chanya, one of the broodmothers, took her in to watch over her and protect her until she'd be old enough to go exploring on her own.
Most cubs of Rashan's pride were either younger than Stellaris and still nursing, or way older. In order to give her a playmate and make it easier for her to get used to her new surroundings and living without her mom and siblings, queen Asadia gifted Stellaris a tame Mauritius Blue Pigeon. The bird follows the little cub everywhere, and Stellaris feels less alone and homesick around her new friend.
A few days after, Rashan brought home another young cub. Stellaris and Lysilla became friends almost instantly, and they help each other to feel at home at the new pride.

The more Stellaris grew, the more she discovered her love for birds. Colourful birds, especially. She started to carefully befriend them, until they trusted her enough to fly down and sit on her back or walk between her paws.
