She was the first lioness to meet The King of the Stars, the creator of the galaxy itself who descended to this land to become a half-mortal lion. The two had a litter of two cubs, the daughter Comet, and the son Aurora. But, something was very wrong with The Aurora. Perhaps it was the power in his blood that he'd inherited from his father, but as he grew, he only became more and more violent and dangerous. It got so bad, that the King of Stars made the tough decision to banish him. Flare was now presented with a decision. She could've stayed with the King, or followed her son despite his personality. Finally, she decided. She couldn't bare to think of her son living banished and alone, and so she wanted to at least give him company and help him, perhaps help him find a good path in life. She separated from the King, and ever since then, she's lived with her son The Aurora somewhere far, far away. Unfortunately, his violent behavior continued no matter how much she tried, although she was the only lion that he wouldn't hurt.
